Join me for a day of painting a moody seascape in artist quality watercolours. Inspired by the coast of Norfolk, we will paint atmospheric scenery and add boats to our image. There is a beautiful stillness to this part of the coast which we will seek to capture in our artwork.
Working step by step, we will practice:
· Wet in wet painting style
· Blending colours
· Painting in layers
· Using a limited palette
· Creating atmosphere
· Achieving distance and depth
All these techniques are transferable to other watercolours you might paint.
