Multi-Block Lino printing with Carol Holland

Carve, Create, and Connect: A Mindful Summer Sunday

Escape the rush of the week and find your flow in the rhythmic art of linocut.

On Sunday, 7 June, we invite you to slow down and rediscover your creative spark. From 1:30pm to 4:00pm, our studio transforms into a sanctuary of shared creativity and nature-inspired art. This workshop is designed not just to teach a skill, but to offer a restorative space where you can work with your hands and connect with like-minded people.

The Joy of Making

There is something deeply therapeutic about the physical process of linocut. The smooth glide of the tool through the block and the tactile nature of hand-pressing ink onto paper offer a perfect "digital detox."

●     Find Your Flow: Immerse yourself in the meditative rhythm of carving.

●     No Pressure, Just Play: If the "blank page" feels daunting, don't worry. We provide botanical reference materials and tracing paper to help you find your feet. Whether you're an artist or haven't picked up a pencil in years, you’ll create something beautiful.

●     Layered Beauty: Learn the rewarding process of multi-block printing, watching your design evolve as you add layers of color and texture.

●     A Social Atmosphere: Enjoy the hum of a shared studio. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet creative neighbors, share ideas, and celebrate each other's progress over a common craft.
