Lisa and Katie are the founders of The Place Stamford. They have been friends for 7 years now after meeting when their children were little and have a shared love of everything crafty and camping - even better if the two can be combined (Lisa does have plans for a ‘The Place On Tour’ - watch this space!).

Both Katie and Lisa have tried their hands at many many arts and crafts - most have which they have turned in to some sort of business.

Lisa also runs The Nature Pot selling natural and eco products and This & That specialising in knitted, crochet and sewn lovelies. Katie runs The Story Pot selling Children’s books, Crafty Little Design - a business selling art and fabric designs and the local Sling Library. The Place Stamford is an amalgamation of their years of experience and their many businesses.
